The writing on the wall ; Part Two : The lion's den ...
Updated: Aug 29
I recently shared a blog post called "The Writing on the Wall." You absolutely have to check out that story first because this is the thrilling part two! This is the Lion's Den story for those times in life when you feel completely surrounded. When you're facing relentless attacks—those are the lions, whether they're people close to you or spiritual adversaries. The lions are ravenous, eager to devour you by any means possible. Right now, my lions are court cases threatening to take my children, financial setbacks, and clashes with those around me. But even in this den, with lions nipping, scratching, and leaping, God is my protector. Those lions will starve and perish before God lets them harm me!
I've been experiencing some strange occurrences, like certain names popping up on my social media that relate to my lions, and my Mother's Day ring breaking. I recognized that as a sign from the enemy, signaling his desire to permanently separate me from my children and break me through that, to shatter my relationships. But God has revealed who my lions are, even in the darkness. He's been giving me dreams lately as well.
In one dream, a lion tampered with my truck, following and waiting for me. When I got home, I sensed an intruder. I went through my house in the dream, securing everything. As I came downstairs, one of my female lions entered. She received a call, and I heard a woman's mocking laughter because I couldn't find her—she was already inside. She emerged from a room off the kitchen, a sacred space where you're spiritually nourished. When she appeared, I knew she wasn't human but a demon. She was restrained because I called on God. I poured blessed oil on her and, before she could flee, I demanded to know her purpose. She confessed that my ex wanted to kill me, that he was monitoring me. She revealed I was close to uncovering something that would be used against him. She was sent to stop me.
She tried to hide, but I declared, "I see with God's eyes, and you can't hide from God!" These dreams are powerful messages and warnings. God reveals things through dreams, visions, and miraculous ways. How does this connect to my Daniel story? It's about one of my Pharaoh-spirited adversaries, a lion trying to devour me with false accusations, aiming to take my children and cripple me financially and otherwise. But I'm shielded by God, and their direct attempts have failed. Even attempts to harm me through others will not succeed. Remember Pharaoh's fate and what awaits those lions—they will starve! Just like Daniel was saved, and Moses and the Hebrews were liberated, I declare, "Let my people go!" God is bypassing the desert phase for me, leading me straight to the land of milk and honey in this new season! God has decreed that my enemy's reign is over and his days are numbered. Just as Daniel and the writing on the wall declared .These days of sorrow are ending, and I'm stepping into my Esther season, preparing for my king! Whatever that secret is, God sees it and it's in His hands.
