Jesus wasnt the founder of the church

Reexamining the Origins and True Foundations of Christianity :

Contrary to popular belief, Jesus is not the founder of the church. Peter is the one whom Jesus declared, "On this rock, I will build my church." Peter actively sought to convert existing Jewish temples, contributing to the establishment of a church later influenced by Roman rule. The Romans set up the Vatican to oversee the church, incorporating pagan beliefs and traditions to maintain peace, albeit subtly opposing the church's original principles. Followers of Christ who remained true to his teachings formed underground groups known as "The Way," named after Jesus' proclamation that he is "the way, the truth, and the life."

In truth, Jesus founded an organization focused on learning and fellowship, emphasizing that believers are called to engage with the world rather than remain confined. Jesus was constantly on the move, and he taught that wherever two or more gather, he is present, making church a concept beyond physical buildings. Early gathering places served as safe schools for disciples, but mature Christians were considered the hands, eyes, and body of Christ—another term for the church, emphasizing the community rather than a building.

When Jesus spoke of Peter as the rock, he was preparing Peter to shepherd his followers after his departure, symbolically passing on the keys to the kingdom. This wasn't about founding the church as many assume. Jesus, the cornerstone, entrusted Peter with this responsibility.

Jesus criticized the institutional church and distanced himself from it, dying before Peter was recognized as the founder and first pope. The concept wasn't Jesus' idea, as calling a man "father" contradicts God's teachings. Many church practices opposed Jesus' teachings. Peter himself acknowledged deviations from the original message and was ultimately martyred for opposing the church.

Peter requested to be crucified upside down, feeling unworthy and believing he failed due to the church's divergence from true Christian teachings. The church labeled as Christian often strays from Christ's teachings, and true Christians have long endured this misrepresentation. God is raising the chosen to reveal hidden truths, despite attempts by modern culture to rewrite history and language. Only bold, transparent truth can set us free, and true followers of Christ are committed to exposing darkness and standing on the true foundation. Jesus is not the founder of the institutional church, which is not truly Christian. Denominations born from doctrinal disagreements are mere counterfeits.

When discussing the church or Christianity, I, as a non-denominational born-again believer, do not identify with those titles but consider myself a true Christian. Early Christians who remained faithful were known as "The Way" and later formed the Church of Christ, which was also co-opted by opposing forces portraying Christ through other faiths that serve saints rather than God.

Even their Bibles differ, and many endorse readings from other texts, including the Ethiopian Bible, which contains corrupted knowledge from fallen angels. These books should be approached cautiously and only considered after establishing strong foundations as a chosen believer—one who recognizes "The Way," not the institutional church.
