A HEARTFELT INVITATION TO PARTNER WITH JUST BE HELD

Dear Brother or Sister in Christ,

My name is Mariah, and I am the founder and creator of Just Be Held, a Christian mentoring ministry that was born out of one of the most difficult seasons of my life.

I am reaching out to you not simply to introduce a ministry, but to share a vision that I believe God has placed deeply within my heart.

Just Be Held was created for the person who feels forgotten, overwhelmed, lost, broken, or unsure of where to turn next.

It is for the person who needs to be reminded that God has not abandoned them.

It is for the new believer who has questions and does not know where to begin. It is for the person who wants to understand Scripture and grow deeper in their relationship with God. It is for families walking through difficult seasons, parents who feel overwhelmed, young people searching for identity and purpose, and individuals who believe there must be more to their relationship with God than simply attending church.

At the heart of this ministry is a simple message:

When it feels like your life is falling apart, God is still holding you.

That message became personal to me long before it became the foundation of a ministry.

My own journey with God has taken me through seasons of tremendous difficulty. I married young, became a mother, faced serious health challenges, and eventually experienced circumstances within my marriage and family that forced me to confront things I never imagined I would face.

After being diagnosed with cancer, my relationship with God began to change profoundly. Through that experience, and through other difficult seasons that followed, my faith became much more than something I had grown up knowing about. It became something I had to live.

God brought me through that season, and I experienced healing that changed my life.

Later, when my daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy and our family entered another difficult chapter, I found myself drawing even closer to God. During this time, my church recognized gifts of discernment and prophecy in my life, and I began to understand that many of the experiences God had allowed me to walk through were not only shaping me—they were preparing me to help others.

Today, I look back at many of the painful places in my life differently.

I don't believe God wasted them.

The struggles taught me compassion.

The uncertainty taught me faith.

The seasons when I felt alone taught me how important it is for someone to simply come alongside another person and say, “You don't have to walk through this alone.”

That is what I want Just Be Held to become.

THE VISION

Through justbeheld.com, I am beginning to build a place where people can find Christian teaching, mentorship, encouragement, Bible studies, fellowship, prayer, and practical support.

The vision includes:

  • Bible studies and Christian education

  • One-on-one mentoring for adults and teens

  • Support for new believers as they begin their faith journey

  • Teaching about spiritual gifts and discovering one's God-given purpose

  • Prayer and fellowship groups

  • Groups for parents, teens, and married couples

  • Encouragement and support for families experiencing difficult seasons

  • Christian content through YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, blogs, and other platforms

  • Resources for people who are searching for answers about their faith

  • Eventually, practical assistance and connections for families facing issues such as financial hardship, housing difficulties, disability-related challenges, and other life circumstances

I also have a particular passion for helping people who have experienced spiritual confusion, occult involvement, oppression, or circumstances they do not know how to understand. I want to approach these subjects carefully, biblically, and responsibly while pointing people toward Christ rather than fear.

Ultimately, I want Just Be Held to become more than a website.

I want it to become a community.

A place where people can come when they need someone to pray with them, teach them, encourage them, listen to them, and help them take their next step with God.

WHY I AM REACHING OUT

I know that I cannot build something this meaningful by myself.

One of the things I have learned through my own journey is that God often answers prayers through people.

He sends the right person at the right time.

A mentor.

A teacher.

A friend.

A ministry partner.

A person who sees something in you that you cannot yet see in yourself.

I believe in what Proverbs 27:17 teaches us:

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

That is the kind of relationship I am seeking.

I am reaching out to established ministries, Christian leaders, mentors, churches, and believers who may see value in this vision and be willing to help me learn how to build it correctly.

I am not asking someone to simply believe in an idea.

I am asking for the opportunity to learn from those who have already walked the road I am beginning to travel.

I would be deeply grateful for guidance in areas such as ministry development, leadership, outreach, discipleship, online ministry, business structure, fundraising, organization, technology, content creation, and building a sustainable ministry that can genuinely serve people.

I am also open to collaboration.

Perhaps there is something your ministry already does that could complement the vision of Just Be Held. Perhaps there are resources, teachings, programs, outreach opportunities, or areas of service where our ministries could work together.

Or perhaps you simply have wisdom that could help me avoid mistakes and build a stronger foundation.

I am willing to learn.

I DON'T HAVE EVERYTHING FIGURED OUT

I want to be honest about something.

Just Be Held is still being built.

I don't have a large organization behind me.

I don't have a large staff or a large budget.

I am starting with faith, a website, the experiences God has given me, the gifts I believe He has placed within me, and a heart that genuinely wants to help people.

But I believe that is how many things begin.

A vision starts as something small.

Then God brings people.

He provides resources.

He opens doors.

He teaches us.

And little by little, what began as a burden in someone's heart becomes something that can bless many others.

That is what I am praying for.

MY HEART BEHIND THIS

I don't want to build a ministry simply so I can say that I built a ministry.

I want to build something that matters.

I want someone who has lost hope to find hope.

I want someone who feels spiritually lost to find direction.

I want a new believer to have someone they can ask questions without feeling ashamed.

I want parents to know they are not alone.

I want young people to understand that their lives have value and purpose.

I want families going through difficult circumstances to discover that their circumstances do not have to be the end of their story.

And most of all, I want people to encounter Jesus.

My greatest desire is that when someone comes across Just Be Held, they don't walk away thinking primarily about me.

I want them to walk away thinking about God.

Because everything I have survived, everything I have learned, and everything I hope to build ultimately points back to Him.

AN INVITATION

So I am reaching out to you with an open heart.

If you are a ministry leader, Christian organization, mentor, church, business owner, content creator, or simply a believer who feels that this vision resonates with you, I would love to connect.

Perhaps God has something He wants us to learn from one another.

Perhaps there is an opportunity to collaborate.

Perhaps you can offer guidance.

Perhaps you know someone who can help me take the next step.

Or perhaps all you can do right now is pray.

I believe prayer is powerful, and I would be grateful for that too.

I am trusting God for the people He will bring into this journey.

I don't know exactly what Just Be Held will look like five years from now.

But I know why I started it.

I started it because I know what it feels like to need someone to hold you up when you don't have the strength to stand.

And I know what it is like to discover that even when everything around you seems uncertain, God has never let go.

That is the message I want to spend my life sharing.

You are not forgotten. You are not alone.Your story is not over. And when you cannot hold everything together yourself, you can Just Be Held.

If you feel that there may be a way for us to connect, collaborate, or simply begin a conversation, I would be honored to hear from you.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and hear the heart behind this vision.

May God bless the work He has placed in your hands, and may He bring the right people together at the right time to accomplish everything He intends.

With gratitude and faith,
