I was diving into the fascinating book of King Solomon, where God had blessed him with the incredible gift of having any prayer request answered! Solomon, with his wise heart, asked for wisdom. He passed a hugely significant test of character, and as a result, God showered him with material wealth and an extraordinary measure of wisdom beyond the norm! However, years later, Solomon married multiple wives who turned his heart away from God. He began worshiping idols, indulging himself, and even turned to occult practices. Faced with temptation, he chose to give in, leading him down a path of destruction. Yet, because of David, God extended grace to him. Solomon lost his life and kingdom, but through David, God kept a particular promise. Sometimes, it's due to another's covering that we receive grace, even when we deserve it the least. Love, Relationship, and Why God Creates Outside Himself

Here’s a thought to unpack: God is love, and love gives, receives, and returns. Even though God is triune, creation becomes a space where love is expressed toward beings who can freely respond. That doesn’t mean God is incomplete—it means His love overflows into relationship beyond Himself. In Genesis 1, the “void” isn’t God’s emotional state; it’s a space not yet filled, like a house that isn’t a home until it’s inhabited.
