I would like to begin a respectful conversation about what these names mean, how they are used in Scripture and translations, and how we can distinguish the Creator, the Savior, and the adversary. I’ve been reflecting on Palm Springs, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and other places where many people are searching for meaning amid confusion and brokenness. Rather than condemning people, let’s pray for mercy, truth, healing, and a light that brings hope and repentance. May our prayers be guided by love, humility, and a desire to see lives restored.
Lucifer’s fall began with a desire for God’s authority and glory. Cast out of heaven, he became associated with darkness and deception, creating a false reflection of what he once knew in God’s kingdom. While darkness may imitate spiritual gifts, power, and truth, it cannot produce the life that comes from God. Believers are called to recognize the difference and stand firmly in Christ’s light.
